Today is Positive Thinking Day, a day to promote the power of positivity and the impact this simple act can have on your life.
At Railsr, we celebrate the Positive Leadership Award presented to Erica Katsambis by the Positive Leadership Institute. She was selected from 7,399 nominations submitted from 18 countries across five continents and recognised as a positive leadership champion, helping people, teams and organisations thrive, a culture we embrace at Railsr.
Erica says, “Gratitude, Joy, and Integrity are not the first words to be mentioned in Leadership books and are usually left outside the office's front door. Yet, acknowledging Gratitude for what you have at work and expressing appreciation to teammates creates safety and security. Acting with Integrity by consistently doing as you say and for it to be aligned with what you think is a powerful action to build trust and transparency. Creating Joy by smiling more, laughing more, and joking more builds a deeper connection with your team. When I act upon these values through my leadership practices, negativity simply can not coexist.”
Erica is a trailblazing leader within telecoms & fintech, known for forging global strategic partnerships with major tech companies. A mother of three boys and leading within male-dominated industries, she became inspired to champion women in tech and sales. In addition to her role as VP Partnerships at Railsr, she is an ambassador for DE&I through social enterprises, she serves as UK Country Chair for G100 and supports Stemettes and Women in Games. She was a Founding Member of Chief, a powerful female professional network, and an Angel Investor and Advisor to Impact Ventures Group, committed to raising funds for female founders. Erica’s leadership is characterised by her integrity and positive energy to uplift and empower others.
