Bags packed for Roman Holiday as retailers gather to hear the word

The Railsbank team is set for its own Roman Holiday as it takes Rome by storm, visiting the internationally renowned World Retail World Congress (WRC).

WRC (Rome, 5-7 April) unites leaders from across the global industry for innovative, groundbreaking strategy and insights to drive success.

Attendees get to experience an unrivalled high-level forum for senior retailers to learn, share insights, form powerful connections and play a key part in shaping the future of global retail.

The Congress provides a programme that cuts to the core of key issues, bringing together the brightest minds inside retail and out, including those from economics, academia, politics and NGOs.

Railsbank is a major partner of the event and has backed the WRC’s premier report, entitled “The World View on Digital Retail’s New Perspectives - Understanding Behaviours and Buying Habits of Today’s Global Consumer.”

The report, which includes an introduction from Railsbank co-founder and CEO Nigel, has came up with six ways that retailers can boost their customer relationships.

What’s discussed at WRC will help retailers create strategies that will last for years to come.

And, for those that do not know, Roman Holiday was a 1953 American romantic comedy film starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. Hepburn won an Academy Award for Best Actress and no, she didn’t slap anyone on stage!
