Railsbank is welcoming a new member of the team, Nilanga Fernando, who has joined as Global Head of Customer Success.
Nils, as he’s known by friends and colleagues, will spearhead Railsbank’s drive to build the best customer success team in the business.
According to Nils “...the team and I are here to ensure that our customers achieve, and exceed, their outcomes with Railsbank. We are building the best customer success team in the business, who are advocates and advisors for our customers. The end result is customer delight, retention and expansion of Railsbank’s industry leading platform.”
Nils is passionate about building, growing and scaling companies through strategic, customer-centric revenue growth. Throughout his career he has never stopped being curious about how creativity and technology can solve the largest problems in business.
Based in London and operating out of Railsbank’s HQ, he joins from DataRobot, where he was VP, Head of AI Success (EMEA). There he helped build a new team and function to enable customers to drive success in their AI transformations.
Before that he had four very successful years at MuleSoft, where he played a leading role in evolving the company from a successful start-up, into an established enterprise-wide market leader, through a hugely successful IPO and an industry-changing acquisition.
His other appointments include Director, Global Technology at Pearson and eight year of business consultancy at Deloitte and Deloitte Digital.
As for what Nils does to relax, he says cooking and running help him focus, although whether those two things are related, he doesn’t let on!
