Congratulations to our customer Cledara, which has just joined the world's largest accelerator programme.
To get onto the Techstars programme is a huge achievement and the Cledara team deserve a massive round of applause.
And it seems like just yesterday (well it was back in October last year) that we helped Cledara launch its own-branded virtual Mastercard Debit Card only 99 days after incorporation. It was one of the fastest Mastercard launches a startup has ever achieved.
Cristina Vila, founder of Cledara, told us: “This is brilliant news for Cledara. To get the support and backing of Techstars is such a vote of confidence in what we have achieved and will likely achieve in the future. I can’t wait to get the full benefit of their advice and support.
“Cledara has always seen itself as a pioneer not only in our sector, but beyond, which was demonstrated by our drive, supported by Railsbank, to get our own-branded virtual MasterCard ready in such a short time. We can now exploit that desire to succeed with the help from Techstars and look forward to an exciting future.”
Railsbank CEO and co-founder Nigel Verdon: “This is great news. Cledara is one of those companies which will really benefit from being part of this prestigious accelerator programme. Since they became our customer, we have been impressed with their drive and determination, and we have always been happy to work alongside what is a very ambitious team.”
Techstars is the worldwide network that exists to help entrepreneurs succeed.
