Railsbank has once again been named as one of the 50 hottest FinTechs in Europe.
The 2018 list is, according to the organisers FinTechCity, the most hotly contested 50 yet. They point out that 2018 is set to be bigger than 2017, which smashed all previous records, attracting one million views online, reaching 3.5 million Twitter accounts and featuring in key media.
On the morning of the 2018 list’s release, it attracted over 10,000 views online and reached just over one million twitter accounts.
Railsbank was on the list in 2017 and this year we have made it to the top rankings again. And competition was fierce, especially considering that we were up against 1,800 FinTechs spread across the the width and breadth of Europe.
FinTechCity has also created a Railsbank profile page on their website, thefintech50.com.
Nigel Verdon, Railsbank co-founder and CEO, was delighted with the news: “To make the list again, after such a competitive process, and against so much quality opposition, is a real slap on the back for the team here at Railsbank. Everyone has worked so hard to position the company as a major force within the FinTech sector and to have that work recognized by an international panel of our peers, is a great achievement.”
The FinTech50 list was founded in 2012. It was the first list worldwide to recognise FinTech for innovation. Five years on, the list of the 50 hottest FinTechs in Europe is viewed worldwide by investors, financial services organizations, global tech giants, influencers and innovators.
