Railsbank took top honours at MoneyConf, Web Summit’s FinTech conference in Dublin.
We were named the winner of PITCH 2018, emerging from the two-day summit as the ‘Best FinTech startup.’
Brad van Leeuwen, Head of Partnerships at Railsbank, led the charge. He was congratulated for the quality of the pitch, the relationships already established with some of the sector’s most progressive banks and how Railsbank provides an innovative platform with just five lines of code. Over 100 entries from across the world took part in this year’s PITCH competition, which was held at the two-day conference in Dublin. Web Summit CEO & Co-founder, Paddy Cosgrave, announced Railsbank as PITCH 2018 winners after Brad battled through three rounds.
Railsbank is an open banking and compliance platform that gives companies access to global wholesale banking services. The UK startup was co-founded by Nigel Verdon, who previously set up money exchange and payments platform Currencycloud.
Railsbank stood out in MoneyConf for its quality of pitching, its established relationships with banks and how it provides its platform with just five lines of code. Through its API, companies can access Railbank’s core platform alongside a range of wholesale financial services.
